April Louise (Racho) MENZIES

April Louise (Racho) Menzies, (April.30.1962 - July.4.2017) 

She loved to experience new things. She was living her life one adventure to the next kayaking, motorbiking, picnics, gardening, and all round crafting. April always was always creating whether it was sewing, altering textile garments, creating an incredible garden space on her property, creating joy and experiences for her family and friends. She was always somebody to turn to with advice on how to ‘make or craft’ anything.

April is survived by her two daughters Karly and Koral, and her two beautiful grandchildren Daisy and Jack. April had an incredibly large list of family, friends, and clients whom she considered all very dear to her. That was another amazing credential of April, everyone that was in her life or who she chose to associate with was somebody very special to her.

April’s Celebration of Life will be a private event, held at the end of August at a beautiful Shawnagan Lake side property. 

In lieu of condolence flowers April’s family requests for you to tend to your own living plant encouraging your local bees to pollinate.
Her passing is a reminder to us all how quick life can pass you by.  Live your life to the fullest.   Do what makes you happy
