William LAMBIE

In loving memory William Lambie who passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Regional Hospital with Robert and (Donna) by his side Jan 15, 2022.
Born and raised in Whitburn, Scotland May 26,1935. Where he became a Miner and joined the Armed Forces. Met his wife Elizabeth and married in 1958.
Moved to Canada. Became a Father to Robert Lambie (Donna Giberson Rob’s wife). Siblings Nellie Thomson of Ladysmith BC and Isabel Hatch of Salt Lake City Utah USA.
Worked in Forestry in Port Alberti at Franklin River for 5years and then transferred to Harmac Nanaimo BC, where he worked for 40 years until he retired in the late 1990’s.
In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and hunting. In later years he enjoyed his Fruit Trees and yard (immensely). Loved to cook, and working on his Crossword Puzzles.
Was a member of the Mason’s for 50 years.
Also many nieces and nephews in Canada, USA, Germany and Scotland.
