Dave Passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family.

Survived by his wife of 61 years Doreen, Children Cory (Jim) Kral, Tammy (Ric) Raynor,  and Shane (Tracey) Lassam.

Grandchildren Zac (Dakota)  and Matt Kral, Rebecca (Kyle),  Terry , Brittany (Zac) and  Everett Raynor, Devon and Jayda Lassam.

Nephews  Jim (Shelly) Lassam, Gerry (Erica)  Clarke, Don (Margaret)  and David Finnson, as well as other much loved extended family.   

Dave lived his entire life on the farm in Cedar that his grandfather bought in 1917. We have lost a generous man who would share his time and vast knowledge of farming, equipment, antique cars and Cedar history with anyone who needed it.  

Dave loved nothing more than a good story and laughter. He loved his family, his friends and his cows. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was not particularly fond of flowers,  but a good bale of hay would be in order.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held  on Feb 4 2023 at the Cedar Community Hall (Speedway Hall) 2388 Cedar Rd Nanaimo BC  1-4pm.
