On May 14, 2021 Torrie Jones returned home for one final bonfire in his yard. Fittingly, at 4:20pm with a handful of loving friends and family Torrie graciously said his last goodbyes and departed our world. Headed up to the "Great Chairlift in the Sky."
Born February 20, 1957 to Murry and Barbara Jones of Victoria BC. Tor will be mourned and commemorated by his wife Janet, sister Patricia, niece Emily and husband Simon, nephew Nigel, wife Miranda and daughter Ivy. As well as, by countless friendships that he forged over his years.
Throughout his life Torrie was a loyal friend to many. He cherished his beloved dogs, who are no doubt by his side. He loved nothing more than skiing down a hill of fresh powder or cruising out and about in his Cyclone convertible sipping on a Hot Fudge Milkshake.
We will miss you Torrie, you will forever be in our hearts!!!
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date, once COVID restrictions have eased enough to have a proper send off for the Big Guy.
Also, a huge THANK YOU to everyone at MAiD and at the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH. You all made him comfortable and allowed him to have a dignified death. AMAZING JOB!!!
