Shirley COLLINS

Shirley Collins, a beloved mother, grandma ,great grandma , daughter, friend, fiancé and treasured presence in her community, passed away March 30th 2026 in Nanaimo. She was a beautiful light in this world—full of life, joy, and love.
Shirley Collins will be remembered for her beautiful smile, the sparkle in her eyes, and her angelic voice. She loved having fun and had a special gift for bringing people together—always encouraging laughter, good company, and celebration. Whether through her singing or her warm spirit, she had a way of making others feel seen, valued, and happy.
Above all, Shirley’s life reflected the love she shared with her family and friends. She and her daughter, Tanya Fulton shared a bond that was truly extraordinary—not only as mother and daughter, but also as best friends.

Shirley’s family and friends will hold close the memories of her singing and the songs she loved to share. For those who knew her, her voice and spirit will remain—especially in the moments when her favorite melodies are heard.

Shirley is survived by her fiancé Andy Tanya, Shane her grand kids Araya,Ethan,Carsyn, her brother Max, sister Monika and her extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 29th at 1:00 pm at the 256 legion 1630 Wellington Rd following the black bear.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to breast cancer or that friends and family share a favorite memory of Shirley and her music.

Shirley will always remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Her spirit will stay close—guiding, comforting, and inspiring all who were fortunate enough to know her.
