Shannon ANDERTON Obituary

Shannon Leah Anderton (May 14, 1955 – June 20, 2021)

On June 20, 2021, Shannon Leah Anderton (nee McIntosh) died of lung cancer at the age of 66. Shannon was born in Nanaimo on May 14, 1955 to Lily and Richard McIntosh. Shannon’s early life was spent on the family farm in East Wellington. She continued to live in Nanaimo her entire life.

Shannon was predeceased by her husband Ken Anderton. Shannon leaves behind her two children, Jamie Newstead and Heather Newstead, her brother Richard McIntosh and her sister Roxanne Luck, her five grandchildren Lily, Izak, Joe, Emma, and Brechelle, and two great grandchildren Ryatt and Sawyer. In addition to her family, Shannon leaves her much loved pets.
