It is with great sadness that the family of Lexie Mogg announce her passing at the age of 95. She brought smiles and beauty everywhere she went. She leaves behind three siblings, four children, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many loving friends/family.
Lexie was born in Port Arthur, Ontario to William and Maysie Wardle February 18th 1924. Lexie met and married her husband Edward Mogg on April 26,1945, they were married for 63 years until Ed's passing in 2008. The family moved to Victoria in 1961 and then to Saturna Island where Lexie worked for BC Ferries on the Mayne Queen. Later the couple moved back to Victoria to retire. During her retirement Lexie sang well into her 90's with the Cook Street Village Seniors Group and Juan De Fuca Singers. Lexie will be missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.
