BAILEY, Kelly Ann
Passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer Nov 08, 2019 in Ladysmith BC. She is survived by husband of 30 years, Ross, brother Ken, nieces Mary and Laurie, nephews Joel and John, great nieces Amy and Janice and numerous great great Nieces and Nephews.
Kelly loved to sail, both locally and around the world. She enjoyed SCUBA diving (but only warm water) and travel. Her passion was raising and training her rescue dogs in agility and scent work.
There will be a service held at the Nanaimo Conference Centre, 101 Gordon St, Nanaimo, on Saturday November 30th from 11-2 ,and in the spring of 2020 her remains will become part of a Living Reef off the shores of Ladysmith.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kelly’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
