Joesph TROTTIER Obituary

Joseph James "Mark" Trottier

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we say goodbye to a beloved husband, father, step-grandfather, and friend.  Mark passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2025, at the age of 57.

Mark is survived by his life partner, Karen Doherty, his cherished step-grandson Leland Douglas, and his stepsons Joseph and Trevor Doherty, whom he cared for deeply.  Mark was a family man with a kind and loving heart.  His greatest joy was spending time with Leland-teaching him about the outdoors, sharing his love of fishing, and guiding him with patience and pride.  He embraced his role as a stepfather, supporting Joseph and Trevor through every stage of their lives.

Mark was a veteran, a hardworking contractor, and a man who honored his word.  He built a career running a contracting company that worked across British Columbia, always committed to fulfilling his promises and taking pride in a job well done.  Outside of work, he enjoyed traveling, exploring new places, and contributing to learn about the world around him.

Mark will be remembered for his integrity, his devotion to his family, and the love he shared with those lucky enough to know him. He will be deeply missed.

His Celebration of Life will be private, but thank you all for your kind thoughts.

As we live in a very small space, "in lieu of flowers"  note, or letter of your memory of Mark would be greatly received.  Please leave in the condolence section for all to see.

Thank you
