Joan Mary Helen Moses (nee Arthur)

1935-2026

Joan Moses of Woodstock Ontario passed away peacefully in Nanaimo General Hospital with both her daughters and her son-in-law by her side on Tuesday March 17, 2026 in her 91st year.

Beloved wife of the late Joe Moses who predeceased her in 2024 after 68 years of marriage.

She was a devoted and loving mother of her 3 children Rick (Terri), Cheryl (Terry) Illingworth and Deanna Frocklage.  Joan was the proud grandmother of 5 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Ethel Arthur of Otterville and 3 siblings: Keith, Clare, Joyce (Sweazey) and is survived by her brother Don Arthur and Sister-in-law Joan (Clare) Arthur

Joan enjoyed her nursing career at Woodstock General Hospital and Caressant Care Nursing Home.  She had a love of boating, family trips, camping, curling, playing the piano and singing. 

In their later years Joan and Joe had a passion for travel and visited many locations around the world.

After Joe's passing, Joan relocated to Vancouver Island to be closer to her family.

Memorials, if desired, can be made in her name to St. David's United Church in Woodstock where she and Joe were Chartered Members.
