August 1957 – October 2025
Jackie passed away unexpectedly in October 2025. She was predeceased by her parents, Ken and Grace Smith of North Vancouver, and by her brother, Larry Smith. She is survived by her sister Arlene (Ken), brother David (Donna), nephews Ben (Kayla), Jordan, and Matt (Keltie), niece Cassie (Cole), great-nephew Owen, and great-nieces Zoe, Ava, Izzie, and Alaina.
Jackie was musically gifted and played the accordion, keyboard, guitar, banjo, and harmonica. A self-described “Jack of all trades,” she pursued diverse careers throughout her life, including baking, horse training at Hastings Race Track, and landscaping and gardening. Jackie was devoted to her church.
A passionate B.C. Lions fan, she made friends easily and was deeply loved by her family and friends.
Rest in peace, Jackie.
