Florina Young 1942-2023 Florina passed away 01/10/23 after a long battle with cancer. Former co-star of Fitness for life Former co-owner of Figuretone International as well as a member of Arrowsmith Search and Rescue, And Community Policing Offices both in Nanaimo and Qualicum. A former Member of the Probus Club of Nanaimo Florina passed away 01/10/23 after a long battle with cancer.

Florina Young 1942-2023 Florina was born in Jardineville NB where she resided with her grandparents Jack and Maud Kelly. She later moved to Halifax and grew up in Fairview. She later married and had six children Monique (airol), Michael, Michelle, Matthew (deceased), Melissa, and Mark (deceased). She is survived by her husband Irvine, Sister Gloria and a brother Seward (John). She was a co-star of the show Fitness for life, -owner of figuretone International as well as a former member of the Probus Club of Nanaimo, a member of Arrowsmith and a volunteer of the community policing office in both Nanaimo and Qualicum. Florina loved her family and her wonderful friends. No service by request. Donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society and The Canadian Kidney Foundation.
