August 27, 1989
It is with hearts full of love and sorrow that we, as his family, announce the very sudden passing of Evan on March 4th, 2023.
He has joined the Heavens to be our precious Gift. Forever Young, Forever Free. Forever in our hearts with unconditional love.
Evan was an adventurous and brave soul. Always inquisitive, always curious of the unknown, and a willingness to try something new, if only once. His interests were wide and varied, from the wonder of what was beyond our universe, the life of the honey bees and to out smart that fish, he would try for hours to catch. He appreciated all things scientific, the natural world, beautiful art, and enjoyed any type of music. He would sing, he would laugh, he would dance, he would draw that picture for his mom.
Evan held no boundaries in Life, being the type of person who showed kindness, empathy, sympathy and generosity to those who accepted him for who he was, and who he wanted to be. He would find joy and satisfaction in lending a helping hand, especially to people who needed someone to be there for them. He quite literally would give the shirt off his back.
He will truly be missed by many.
Being an Alberta Country Boy at heart, please join us in sharing hugs, laughs, and thoughts of remembrance at a drop in celebration of his Life on Saturday, May 27thbeginning 1:00 pm at the South Cooking Lake Community Hall, located at 100, 22106, South Cooking Lake Road, Strathcona County, AB ( web site provides a link to Google Maps )
