CLINE, Donald Robert,
October 6, 1946-September 15, 2023
Don Cline, late of Parksville, BC, was born to Lilian and Robert Cline in Lestock SK. He was raised in Saskatoon and Calgary, where he established several successful businesses, including operation of a real estate appraisal firm with his spouse Joyce for 15 years before relocating to Parksville in 2014. Don was talented and knowledgable in and of a diverse range of skills and subjects. There were many things he could master. He was generous to those needing help, a trait learned from his parents. He was also generous in sharing his strong views with others. Don faced the last few months with courage and strength, and without complaint.
Don is predeceased by his grandparents, parents, brother John and other family members. He passed away aware of the presence, love and support of his loving wife Joyce, and of a last good visit with his brother Eric. He is survived by Joyce, daughters Vaneesa (Tom) and Adrienne, son Morgan, stepson Seyan, grandson Gabriel, great-grandson Jaxon, brother Eric (Pauline), and sisters, Grace Hansen, Lorea Jantzen, and Marguerite Post (Ross).
We are grateful for the care provided by Dr. Johannes Olivier and other doctors, nurses and care providers at Victoria and at Nanaimo Regional Hospital and Palliative Care.
