It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bruce Leonard Fifield age 73 announces his passing. Bruce passed peacefully away at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Bruce was born and raised in Triton, Nfld and moved away at an early age to Ontario to seek employment. It was there in Capreol, Ontario he met and married Diane Fifield(nee Morgan/divorced) and had three children; Tammy Fifield(Calgary, Ab) Clayton Fifield(Nanaimo, BC) Brian Fifield(Nanaimo, BC).
In the early nineties Bruce and his family moved to British Columbia where he fell in love with the beautiful province, the coastal areas and the climate, here he made it home for over thirty years with no desire to move away from it.
Bruce is predeceased by; Father Pearce, Mother Stella, Brother Cyril, Nephew Robby-Leigh.
He leaves to mourn; Partner Gabreila, daughter Tammy, son Clayton, son Brian(Michelle), sister Doreen Sharpe(Ray), sister Frances Ruth(Terry) brother John Fifield, sister Joy Fifield(Ford) sister Kay Hewlett(Tony) brother Thomas Fifield, sister Ferne Winsor(Perry, sister Susanne Costigan(Boyd), brother Billy Fifield. 
As well as a large circle of family and friends.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to The Evergreen Cremation Centre in Ladysmith, BC.
A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
Rest peacefully Bruce, forever loved and remembered by your family and all who have touched his life.
