Alexander James (Jim) MacDonell

March 16 1942 - October 20 2023

On Friday October 20th, Alexander James MacDonell

Passed away peacefully after his final blessing being 

given with his family by his side. Jims final message 

to the world was "GOD IS GOOD".

Born in Malartic Quebec he was the son of the late

John Allen and Mary Francis (Cyr)

Jim is survived by his loving wife Trudy, daughters

Debbie, Wendy, stepson Troy, brother Donald

Sister Betty Watts, Grandchildren Paige, Kaitlyn,

Sarah, Chelsea.

The family would like to express thanks to Mary

& all support staff at Nanaimo community home

services, Red cross, NRGH 6th floor & palliative 

care staff, Dr Turski, Kevin at evergreen cremation

centre.

There is no service by request, in lieu of flowers

donations may be made to BC Diabetes, Canadian

Red Cross.
