It is with sadness we announce that Adam Hrabinski passed away on January 15, 2023 after a sudden illness.
Adam is survived his wife, Judith, sons Alan (Kelly) and Vincent (Maria), grandchildren Matthew, Katrina (Jack), Caroline, Timothy, Sophia, Regina, and brother, Harry. He is predeceased by parents Caroline and Peter, and by brothers Nestor, Terry, and Don.
Adam was born in Winnipeg in 1940 where he met the love of his life, Judith, and where his children were born. Except for a brief period of living in Regina, Adam spent his working years in Winnipeg. For all of his working life, Adam worked around the trucking industry, first as a manager of a trucking company, and later regulating trucking for the province of Manitoba until his retirement in 2003.
In retirement, Adam and Judith moved to Rodney, Ontario and most recently to Ladysmith, BC.
Adam had many hobbies and interests, and was an artist. Earlier in life, Adam did copper tooling, moving on to woodworking (from garage building to cabinet and furniture making) and to stained glasswork. He enjoyed gardening, travel and Spanish guitar. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Thank you for being a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
