It is with mixed emotion that we announce the passing of our warrior Victor J. Charlton.  Vic was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme stage 4 Cancer on the brain twenty-seven months ago. Vic fought the beast well past his expected twelve to fourteen months.

Vic is predeceased by his mother Edna, father Victor, and mother-in-law Gwen. He is survived by his best friend Cheryl, their daughter Brett (Gerry) and his granddaughter Holly-Anna “Mouse”. He is also survived by sisters Doreen (Gary), Val (Rob), Jessie (Elaine), and brother Sheldon (Jeanette).

He is also survived by his father-in-law Joe, Sisters-in-law Linda (Jerry), and Brenda, brothers-in-law Dan (Sandi) and Bill (Brenda).

Vic is also survived by his daughters from a previous marriage Nadine (Kevin), son Parker and Heather (Jon) son Lachlan, as well as many nieces and nephews.

By request there will be no service.  For those that knew Vic, please remember the good times and laughter in his presence.

We, the family, wish to thank his good friends who came to visit him at his home and those that gave him a phone call, it brightened his day.

The family also thanks Dr. Steeves and the nurses of Ladysmith for their loving care during these past months.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the BC Cancer Foundation.  It can be, and is a very unforgiving disease and needs more research.

Good Bye My Friend, Till We Meet Again…. Fly Like An Eagle.
